Traveling is awesome and so awe-inspiring that if I could, I would spend every single dollar I had in the bank in order to travel every single inch of this Earth. Any opportunity to explore comes with so many wonderous facets, from the scenery, the experiences, to the people, food, and culture. It’s just a feeling deep inside you that comes crawling to the surface. Some call it a yearning, others call it fernweh. I simply refer to it as WANDERLUST.
THE REALITY
But let me back it up a little bit and get real with you, because I’ve never really been one to sugar coat anything. Constant traveling isn’t always cupcakes and rainbows and unicorns. YES, you read that right. Traveling does comes with its ups and downs. And, please don’t get me wrong. I kind of love both, because, honestly you can’t have one without the other. I just wish that sometimes someone had forewarned me. Because that kind of stuff is important, ya know? It is a great big wonderous world, but at the end of the day it is still reality, albeit, usually a much more beautiful one void of alarm clocks, rules, and adulting.
So I’ve decided to be your guide. Be ready for some gorgeous landscapes, amazing adventures, and food to die for. But please don’t forget the sarcasm, witticism and truth telling. I’ll throw all of that in, free of charge. Lucky you.
